5. Categories of Personal Information

The following categories of personal information may be involved in activities that could constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable state privacy laws:

6. Verification Process

7. Authorized Agents

If an authorized agent submits a request, we may require: (a) signed written authorization from you designating the agent; (b) verification of the agent's identity; and (c) direct confirmation from you that you authorized the agent to act on your behalf. We may deny a request from an agent who does not submit proof that they have been authorized to act on your behalf.

8. Non-Discrimination

CnergyPro will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, provide a different level or quality of services, or suggest that you may receive a different price or level of service for exercising your opt-out rights under applicable law.

9. Response Timeframe

We will process your opt-out request within 15 business days of receipt, as required by the CCPA/CPRA. For requests under other state privacy laws, we will comply with the applicable response timeframe. We will notify you if we need additional time to process your request. Once processed, your opt-out preference will remain in effect unless and until you subsequently provide express authorization for the sale or sharing of your personal information.

10. Minors

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under the age of 16. If we have actual knowledge that a consumer is between the ages of 13 and 16, we will not sell or share their personal information without their affirmative authorization. If we have actual knowledge that a consumer is under the age of 13, we will not sell or share their personal information without the affirmative authorization of the consumer's parent or guardian.
